My latest acceptances:

First Encounter with the AC new livery

Thai's newest A350, fresh from prio Screening

Air China's Special 330 on a nice late evening

Anther Thai 350 taken few minutes before sunset with some nice lightning

And some impressions from an aircraft exhibtion in Frankfurt lately

With the exception of the AC, all done lefthanded (the right one was in a plaster cast until basically now). I could still press the shutter with the right, but not more so I had to carry the whole weight with the left. It went better than i thought, though I almsost had a cramp on my left arm that day of the exhibtion. Hope you are all doing well :D :D

Taking pics with one hand and a cast on the other? You're taking plane spotting too seriously (says the guy who just drove 3.5 hours to take a photo of a Twin Otter) :D

haha, you know I could not do a lot of things during that time, but being not able to work / drive a car / practising most 95% of sports, I had plenty of time and when I realized that holding a camera is possible and living really close to the airport these sessions offered some welcome change. Not as extreme as it might sound at first :D
Now, show us that Twin Otter!! :D

And the Twin Otter is coming soon. It's nothing special, but one of my grails (in the Twin Otter world) was visiting an airport somewhat nearby to where I was staying on vacation. Had no idea where it would park or if I could get a shot of it at all, as I've never been to the airport. Managed to shoot over a fence and around some obstructions for a decent pic :)

Also on vacation, I was staying right next to KBGR, and managed to get a new Volaris A320neo on its delivery flight:

But, on my way back home, I passed right by KBGR again, just missing 2-ATTF. It came an hour after I drove by, but it was showing only as a blocked flight on Flightwise, and I stubbornly didn't investigate further. Here's a Flickr user's shot of it across the pond:

Nice catch with the Volaris....and yeah a shame you missed that Safi coloured 319, would have been something really rare. But you never know with such flights

Very cool! I don't know if I'd like to work somewhere that had a good view of a major airport...I think I'd be too distracted by the planes and would want to leave the office every time good stuff came in :) Years ago, I was working in an office on the approach to Zurich for a week, and some great traffic would fly past the window, like the Malaysian Freedom of Space :)
