Airliners.net spam

This is getting ridiculous. The solution is to ban [spoofed] IP addresses manually and for photographers to turn off the ability to be contacted? And they say they change the CAPTCHA "every once in a while" but it seems like it's been forever since they've had anything other than their current, outdated one. Don't they have any money to implement anything better? It's not like there aren't free, commercial-grade solutions available. Or how about some basic flood control? :?
