New forum software

Post by Cary »

After switching web hosting companies, I had to upgrade the forum software to be compatible with the new server. Unfortunately, this resulted in losing anonymous board functionality, however you will be able to post anonymously at this time by logging out of your account and posting as a guest.

Embedding posts and pages from a variety of different sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Flickr, etc.) is now much easier. You can simply just paste the URL and in most cases, the post/media will be automatically embedded in your post. The same is true for images -- just paste the image URL and it should be displayed without having to deal with additional IMG tags.

Thanks Moose! Still some little things to fix up, but at least I'm not working with software from six years ago anymore

Thanks Felipe! Yes, it is. I used to run it with a custom theme, but to make it easier to update, I reverted to the base look-and-feel.
